The vision of the Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment, which informs all our decisions and activities, is to be the faculty of choice for engineering & the built environment students and staff nationally and internationally.
The faculty comprises the following departments which cover the engineering and the built environment disciplines:

The university has a diverse student body and teaching staff which results in an enhanced learning environment and the exchange of experience and knowledge brought about through this diversity. The faculty is equipped with a vast array of infrastructure and equipment often linked to ongoing research projects, thus offering prospective students the opportunity to explore many different areas of specialisation.
