Policy Statement for the EBE URC Block Grant Awards 2013.
New researchers (researchers appointed to a full-time academic position in 2011/2012) may apply for a University Research Committee Start-up Research Award. To ensure a favourable start to a research career, the Faculty will attempt to continue this support for a further two year period.
These grants will be allocated on a competitive basis across the Faculty on the basis of the potential of the project and the clarity and quality of the application.
Research Continuation Grants form
The intention of this funding is to enable productive individual researchers who do not have access to significant alternative sources of funding to continue with their research.
